Ten New Irish Kennedy Fellows Selected for 2008
On September 10, 2008, John F. Kennedy, Jr. Institute staff partnered with the Irish SKILL Project colleagues to interview Kennedy Fellows in Dublin for the 2008-2010 academic years. The committee pictured here includes William Attley, Simonetta Ryan, Jack Kelly and Ann Judge from the Irish SKILL Project, along with Institute staff Osmin Sullivan-Hewitt, Erin Croke and Tenzing Gyatotsang. This replication of the New York model awarded the prestigious fellowship to ten individuals employed at Irish agencies serving people with disabilities. They will receive mentoring and tuition aid for two years as they pursue a degree in their respective academic field. The first group of six Irish Kennedy Fellows was selected in 2006.
